update - tekkon US release

just wanted to share some updates about my earlier entry regarding the US release of Tekkon Kinkreet:

July 13 - US Theatrical Release
September 25 - US DVD Release

From here you can watch the US trailer (the music kinda sounds different but it looks like they're keeping the original character voices...so we can still hear nino) and sign up for email updates.

for people who were not able to catch the initial screenings...it's time to rejoice! let's all support this, ne? 

on that note, i don't mind watching it again(i'll try reading the manga beforehand too)...any fans near the NY area that would be willing to get together and watch? just let me know! ^^

hi! this is andrea- i e-mailed you a while back about tekkon :D i finally read your account of the experience~ i'm a bit envious that you got an autograph XD!
anyhoo, i managed to see it on saturday the 28th and i LOVED it! nino and aoi yuu did amazing jobs.

i definitely wouldn't mind seeing it again during the wide release. perhaps i may join in as well? ^^

wow.. thanks for sharing. it's been a while since we have news on tekkon kinkreet and you are so lucky that you're able to see it and even met director michael arias.. woohoo!! can't wait for it's dvd release. :)

so glad you got to see it that saturday. yes, i think nino and aoi did great...though it kinda confused me a bit since i thot shiro was a girl XD of course shiro is not...

hello islandarling. yup. read your account. it's really great that you mentioned that you're a nino fan and director michael even asked you to promote the movie to his fans. wow! by the way, would just like to ask, is there an available english scantalation of tekkon kinkreet manga. would really love to read this before watching the movie. thanks in a advance for the info. :)
